...get fame, keep your IP. It's a really good deal. I wish I had more time to actually write about this, but I don't, and the entries are open for less than two weeks or so, so media-savvy dev teams and full stack agencies, click the link to get in there.
The next call for ideas for our World Service programme will kick-off in Nigeria in February 2016, as we look for more innovative digital concepts to help increase the reach of BBC content across Africa to younger digital audiences.
The brief that we are setting is continuing from the themes of the programme so far; focusing on language technology, social platforms and audio content distribution - this time specifically in Nigeria.
Teams can submit ideas between 1 - 15 February 2016 (midnight, GMT) by downloading the submission pack (which contains the brief, additional guidance and the form for submission) from the link below, and send it to connectedstudio.africa@bbc.co.uk.
We are making available a range of technical resources and APIs for this challenge. Please view the News Labs link below. Access to the APIs will be given once ideas have been selected to progress to the next stage.
Note: We are only accepting submissions from teams, not individuals. Qualifying teams should have a base in Nigeria.
