Anytime I bring this up, people chew my head out. But Nigerian churches can change this economy all by themselves. They have the users, the funds, public trust and network that many companies will not get in a million years.
They have the organization, discipline and resources to succeed where government has failed. They have proven it in Education. Winners is the biggest investor in Education in Nigeria outside of the government, (100+ primary schools, 40+ secondary schools and 2 universities) and CU is arguably the top Uni in the country.
They can extend that success to other sectors. Imagine if RCCG had a payment company (RedeemPay), the challenge of payment will be over. Or they are allowed to set up power plants like they do churches. Churches are our only hope, government has failed us too many times.
