I wonder about this a lot. Why are companies not taking advantage of an average Nigerian's 'mindset' "What's in it for me?"
I look at businesses like Iroko, Ibaka and how they can get more traffic from review sites or even regular people reviewing movies on SM. The fact that they can make a token would be an incentive for more content around their product and traffic hitting their doorstep.
EvronFoodStore and similar online markets for example are also businesses that I believe will get more customers through affiliate marketing.
It's a win-win situation for everybody, yes a lot of craziness would happen in the beginning but yeah we would have more local content and the businesses get the traffic and money.
So why are we/they not taking advantage of this opportunity? Is the implementation of affiliate marketing that hard?
