This makes me think currently,the industry is more of deception than realism.I Dont know of 2 tech companies,who have announced their revenue numbers this year,or even last year or even two years before, rather or we hear about are stories of investments.
I once stumbled on a doc. Of a tech outfit at cchub,and the revenues was gravely falsified, by atleast 2000% or more of their actual number.(it wasn't a public document).
We rarely hear about positive tales post-investment.I like to ask the Radar community,does anyone agree with me that we are celebrating the wrong metrics or am I just being myopic?
Could it be that most tech companies in this sphere have got outrageously poor numbers,or it just makes sense for them to keep shut.Note: I intentionally choose not to use the term "startup".Being that,the word has been misappropriated, and maligned in this sphere.To the extent,if I were to lead a team now, I will never refer to myself as a startup founder.
