Hello Everyone,
For those of us who want a brief introduction to block chains please read this article.
The blockchain (not bitcoin) infrastructure is really making waves in the world today and why is really simple. It is a way to complete transparency in govts and financial institutions. The blockchain infrastructure goes beyond the bitcoins. Banks in the UK and US have started implementing distributed databases for information and transactions.
Not only decentralized but distributed and shared.
I know ther are many bitcoin companies in the country right now, but beyond bitcoins a lot is happening.

1) What we know as money now, may no longer be considered money in 20 years time. Maybe this has been the long term strategy of the worlds technocrats to beat the capitalist oligarchs [Gates, Jobs, Page, Grin VS Rockefellar, Ford, etc, u know dem] in their quest to create a platform to re-distribute wealth. This will make all wealth gathered before the digital revolution completely null and void.:scream:

2) There is a call for income re-distribution in many countries across the world [Nigerians still living in fool's paradise, but we will get there] and the younger generation is fighting back. This is happening in most technically developed countries.

3) The era of data privacy and transparency is knocking on our doors. Given that an algorithm can precisely predict what you would do tomorrow and as microsoft just both linkedin, microsoft owns your business life and facebook owns your personal life. Twitter owns you socially and as we constantly litter the web with digital footprints it is quite easy to track and single individual online.

These changes are calling for a change in the way we now see life and do things. Gradually the normal systems we know now will be replaced with new things and wars these days are fought online. So how do we in Nigeria get leverage this change to our benefit?

Food for though
