Just a brief introduce: THE IDEA
• BarFinderNaija is an app where users tell their friends where they are and what they are doing, with the help of geo tagging which uses the in-built GPS (global positioning system) of users' mobile devices, as they are logged on to the app (or check-in to the service).
• Find where to enjoy a late meal, a drink, a disco to dance, a family friendly outlet, sports viewing bar, somewhere to chill while traffic goes down or whatever you want in the urban city of Lagos with BarfinderNaija App.
• Other cities are being databased as we speak with Abuja and Port Harcourt being the next cities to benefit from this online mobile platform.
• Users search for businesses such as bars, restaurants, nightclubs, cinemas, ATMs, Supermarkets, salons, barber shops etc… around their location, they view pictures, videos, read user reviews of their experiences of these locations which help them decide if such location is worth visiting.
• With the help of a map which shows the address and distance of a location, users “check in” with their mobile phones when they go to restaurants, bars, nightclubs, lounges etc.
• People with the most check-ins for their location become the “Chairman” or “Boss” of that location while those with the most unique visits accumulates points also for being adventurous and super explorers.
• Once checked in, BarFinderNaija App alerts friends to their current location.
• After you've checked in, you can write reviews and tips for the location, to let your friends know what you think of the restaurant or location you are at which will be available to other users.
